Just a quick update. Some of our members have indeed begun to book their passage on the Spirit Of Tasmania Ferry.Rob Patroney is bringing his two place and Bruce confirmed he is bringing his NEWO two place.SportsCopter is planned on being at the Nats also. The numbers are starting to grow and at this stage we may have 12-15 gyros.Northern Tas flying is planned for all through the Central North right down as far a Ross. There is the possibility of doing some flying off one of the Beaches West of the Nats home base at Clarence Point, up towards Stanley"s Nut. The horseshoe beach is approx 9 kms long, we used to do a little glider training off said beach. Another beach to the East of our home base over towards Bridport is very useable and there are private strips everywhere that we have access to as well as the "Tea Pot" a private strip over that way, that has a restaurant, scones and Cappa Coffees. Most of the folk who have booked are having at least a week proir to and a week after the ASRA Nats. This affords us to do lots of scenic flying and some fly/drive stuff.A flyin to Cranbourne is being planned with a BBQ lunch on site to acknowledge the Hills families contrabution to gyro recreational flying in Tasmania by making Cranbourne to main centre of training several years back. Those folk not flying can do the drive bit and checkout places like the Lavender Farm, Strawberry Farm...(pick your own bucket all you can eat while picking) lots of local wineries and local food produce here in the Tamar Valley. Travel across the Batman bridge towards the East Tamar and meet up with the flying crew at Cranbourne for the Luncheon event.Anyone trying to book rooms at the Clarence Point Lodge, who may not have been contacted, please bare withus. Andrew Roberts the owner is busy building and preping for this event and although the answering machine says they are open and operating, they may not return you call as quickly as we may like at this time. That plus the fact that Andrew has taken possession of his Jetranger and is taking lessons now.I hope to have the meals accommodation packages posted by next week end. And the Prez Muzza Barker has asked me to get something into the gyro news for the next edition.Further updates. As they come to hand.Mitch

Cheers Birdy.....I have my fingers crossed, that your plans might change. I"d like to catch up with you on a personal level and of course having you at any Nationals and flying is an incentive for others to attend. There are blokes on the ASRA Board I know who can fly like you and I understand they are comming. My Monarch will get some use. Hope you too can turn up for the Nationals.Well Gents a little update here for those waiting patiently for the rooms accomodation/camping/caravan sites/food package available on site at the Clarence Point Lodge. Recieved an email from Andrew Roberts the owner, he returns to OZ today and we are finalising details over the weekend.Muzz has asked me to write a blurb for the Gyro News, so I will be able to "pen" this by end of the weekend and post said information Monday on the forums. There are plenty of other places to to stay ranging from 5 Minute Drive to 15 Mins though Andrew and I
