A few Pics of the area.Eric has been busy with tidying up the first half of the strip.Drove the Triton with gyro van in tow over it this morning before setting off. Felt pretty good.Flew off and landed on the afore mentioned southern end of the strip, I was pleasantly surprised.Meeting with Andrew (Lodge owner) this Saturday to finalise arrangements for the Nationals.Mitch

2nd shot of final approach.You can see the work Eric has put in to smoothing out the southern end.Yes the Blackwood tree is still there at the northern end, I have to negotiate with Andrew regarding its removal.

Thanks Tony, Brian,Have a meeting at 3.00pm this date with Andrew Roberts to finalise details at the Holiday Lodge.Go a call from Don Cowling yesterday, he"d been out flying when a sea fog set in, caught him by surprise though his local knowledge got him through safely. "Which gyro you bringing Don, single or two place?"
