Looks like you have your hands full. I have a RAF I am running a ej22 EFI with MOTEC computer and 4 blade warpdrive. Oodles of power and will fly well on a 40 degree day as long as you stay away from wirlywinds. I wouldn"t bother with a 25 from what I hear they are bad for leaks etc and a lot heavier.I like the RAF"s they are heavy and the landing gear can take a pizzling if you stuff up a landing. Good luck with the machine. I have construction manual here too if you need photocopies. No spares that I am willing to part with though.Regards,Tim.

I am going to use 6mm for the cheek plates and mast if available with the current mast made from 5mm with 3mm 2""x2.5"" box.

Good to see you are still progressing John. I know what you mean thinking it will only take a few months and years later it"s still a work in progress. There are quite a few in gyro land doing the rebuild/build with timelines that are in the years! keep at it you will get there.Matt

Gidday John,You mentioned upgrading the re-drive. Are you sticking with the RAF belt drive or going gearbox? What electronics are you using for the engine?Good to see you back at it. See you in Wondai some time.Waddles.
