Well, after much deliberation ,and talking it over with My Buddy Sonny j. I have desided Not to put on the new fork type of front end i made up.. instead I will mount the proven drag-link type set up I had on there and put it on a reinforced post that puts it down 12" to make the frame level with the ground .... I have the new front end almost done now , but busted my last 1/4" drill bit in the proccess.... ( doing something stupid !... I knew better ! ...oh well ! ) ... anyway, it looks good and is very strong... unfortionately it only has a 6" wheel on it ... not the 13" i would likebut I'll worry about makeing a 13" fit on it when i get one ! ....... I have been trying to find a 4' hub bar for the Bumble Bee.... anyone got any ideas of where I might find one ?.... Haing test soon it looks like ! it should be realy interesting to see where the O'l girl haings now ! did so many changes i have no idea where it will be ... but i'm guessing close to where it was !....catcha all later !Bob......" How about Make one from an old haing bullet shaped flower pot ? slice it down the middle and strech it out and fiber glass'er up ?..... that or steal Birdies hat and use it ! .... I doubt you'ed even have to starch it to use it as a mold ! HAHAHAHHA!I was thinking of useing a big Kids Ball their about a foot and a half in diam. and a large wast basket ..cut the bottom out of the wast basket and tape the ball to the bottom.... cover the thing with plastic sheeting and start glassing her up ! ....Or .... go to the beach and build it out'a sand and see if you can do it that way ?????better yet , dig a hole .... smothe out the hole with sand packed in good and tight , lay down the plastic and glass it .... might be a tad rough but thats what that micro-balloons stuff is for ! .... once ya get one side done do another and glue the 2 togather ! hehehehehhehemight be easier to buy alot of plaster of paris and just build the mold on a saw horse .... would sure be a strange lookin saw horse though ! HAHAHAH !.... just a thought ! Bob......" Momm'a alwayse told me , Son the impossable is only a little bit Harder... and ya know I do believe She was RIGHT ! "

Bob, thats very interesting, but I think, if I can find one then great, otherwise I will stick it out without one, and put up with the cold.I am probably better off. Thanks Sam.

was thinkin along the lines of makin a pod for winter, as im not flyin yet and goin crazy.goldwing motor bikes had a hot air vent for its riders legs so i was wondering if a kyak or canoo cut in half could bee used to cover the legs with heat from the engine incorporated?the pionty end of the kyak would need trimming and re glassing but i think it would be a cheep and easy way to fly in winter without all the extra clothes, as winter is short up here and i dont own any.p.s. what type of machine is that black one.

Seriously Sami ! makeing your own cowling isn't that hard.... My first attempt ended in failure because and Only because i didn't go buy the micro-ballons to make as a puddy and smothe out the ferring...( Micro-ballons are light by the way )Now considering i made the mold out of a big card board box, i'ed say thats purdy good for a first try, and if I can do it I am sure you can.... when i make my next one I will look for a suteable frame and mold and do it right .... I was just fooling arround with the first one !Another thought is thin plexie glass and a hair dryier .... have a form built out of plywood and stringers or something like that ... anchor one end of the plexie glass carefully to the form .... and heat the sheet while bending it to comform to the shape.... you can weld the sheets togather with a soldering iron and use strips of the plexie glass cut on the table saw ( after turning your blade backwards ) it works.... some times its iffie at best.... the realy thin stuff is all I'ed use in this case.... then cover it with glass.just be sure the reson don't melt the plexie glass or all your work will be for Not ! just another thought is all !Bob...." Great Idea ! I have seen plastic cheep Kayaks rounded not "fluted" and would be strong enough to just bolt on ! fantastic idea !.... I suppose a person could pipe in the hot air without too much effort... maybe use the heater ducting from an automobile ,its light! I do think you'ed want a way to shut it off though ... add a control vent to it ! Thanks Hoody thats a great idea ! now where to find a Kayak ! hummmmmm.c ya !Bob...."
