query...........what"s the best "goo" to seal a screw in "plug" that must be inserted into a wet hole. This plug must be removable whenever needed to be.Remember........this plug get"s installed into a water flooded thread hole.

OOps......sorry...............Bin using blended oils ( mineral / synthetic combo ) for some time, was told way back this was the way to go.........went to get the same combo the other day ( penrite )....am now told combo"s are no longer made

I like them penrite oils mate......sticking with em.went passed your front door week or so back.........closed up tight......9pm ;D......me n her ;D will be gyroing your way shortly, will let you know when. Don"t forget.....bowl over them posts

Russ,Why not use thread tape. It will still seal going into a wet thread and is easy to remove, no crust to clean up like you get with loctite type products.

thanks guys........went the thread tape way, no probshad a little heart racer the other day...........wires/ hoses / etc, that are reeeel hard to check properly coz they are weaving about through your engine cr*p ......well, insignificant water hose was well and truly wearing through, was only a matter of time ( short time too ) when ol russy was going to be in the poo with me water p!ssin out a rub hole in me hose.........so.......check real good all them awkward to get at bits, or "protect them " more betterer
