Hi Guys,The new machine has an ej25 with the autoflight box.What additives can I run in the gearbox and the engine to protect things and make things run sliperya.

Moreys in the box , Flashlube in the fuel . Congrats on a good build job.

so is it moreys auto transmission in the hypoid oil and oil stabilizer in the engine?

Disco, put Moreys in the transmition up to 25% by vol and in the motor up to 20%. Lucas olso make the same additives. There is a rep in Qld some where as he was over here in the West at the Field days.Cheers Des Garvin.

Slick 50 in both and you dont even need oil.

Autoflight recommended an oil which I got 5 litres left of.

Slick 50 certainly reduces temperature. You usually need to run about 10 to 15 % .

The newer 912 and 914"s have a slipper clutch in the gearbox which uses the same oil supply as the engine, anti friction additive will adversly affect the opperation of this clutch. The clutch is there to prevent damage to the crank in the event of a prop strike.Hope I"m not clear as mud ???regards

is the gearbox making the prop hot or is the exhaust making the prop hot. addititives can"t fix the later. the prop can only handle so much heat ????
