    • Gd day Al, the advise was indeed passed on. Pls follow this link, http://www.asra.org.au/smf/index.php?topic=4358.0. It was issued on April last year by M. Barker. Lou

          • Gents,It seems that I have shot myself in the foot (again) and acknowledge Lou"s advice re the Autoflight gearboxes. A copy of the letter Muz posted appears in the 2012 Autumn edition of the GN. My feeble excuse can only be that it was not in the format I expected and I glossed over it rather than copy and file it as an AA.I aplolgise to Muz and Mark, our Tech Manager for my oversight.Guess I"ll just crawl back under my rock!Waddles.

            • Tony,Sometimes I think they re-word the label to justify the the price rise.

              • Waddles,When you find that rock, it better be big enough for two, as I only saw the attachment once Lou pointed it out. It all works out in the endRegards Matt

                        • a while back I thought I was happy with the oil and additive I was using in my autoflight box. it did seem to run a bit hotter than my previous rotax box and it also had an oil leak from the rear main seal from new.[ so I wasn"t totally happy with the gearbox it at all ] so after all the talk with waddles box I bought a bottle of penrite brand trans oil 75w-90. it comes in a 2.5 lt bottle which was the contributing factor. it was due for it"s first oil change . all I did was change the oil and i"m happy to say that just going on feeling it with my hand after a flight it definitely seems cooler
