just to let anyone else know the silicone grease is actually in a spray can. [ i didn"t know that until today ] the wurth rep walked in the door today, pretty little thing,i"ll bet sales have gone up in our district too ;D. she had quite a lot of knowledge considering. yeah i bought a can. i"m actually having trouble with my hi-lux . it"s been costing me a bit of money since 200,000k . i asked the local guru who everybody reckons to go to and he said" he"s seen trouble with car computers start from as low as 85,000k and others don"t need attention until 240,000k". so bones had a good run and others don"t.

Russ, I think I mentioned fuel pressure before, get a fuel pressure gauge & install it in a good spot cause it will give you instant indications of problems such as a filter starting to get full of stuff to showing you a pump is loosing pressure which means its either pumping fuel overboard or the pump is on its way out.I thought a fuel pressure gauge was a bit unnecessary when Tim stuck it in without asking but I soon learnt why he put one in !!!High pressure pumps are not fail safe, I had one go at 900 hours I think so since then I replace them at 700 hours.I reckon if you stop fiddling with the gyro you are probably going to have a lot better run.

This is the stuff we have been using for years in the avionics game. Fighter jets, bug smashers, passenger turbines etc., in fact any avionics at all. Works a treat!Spray it on and then screw/push the connector on.Bluehttp://www.acf-50.co.uk/acf50.htm
