    • Did not get time to contact the UFO guy in NZ Darrell due to family commitments. On returning to my tropical paradise peninsular I dragged out my EJ25 kruser cabin flying ship and concluded that the only electronic component I haven"t replaced was the crank angle sensor.

        • A very intelligent and scientific appraisal Lefty. I would remove the LH cylinder head at the drop of a hat. Maybe I should just pretend I never saw the oscilloscope readings :-

          • Lefty/Max it is a good question. The fact still remains that the oscilloscope trace definitely shows a disparity between the injector feeds. Max has swapped the injectors over and the fault still persists. Another test would be to again swap

            • And remember the ecu gets no feedback from the engine so even if a spark plug was missing there is no explanation for the double pulse.

                • Yep Birdy, the ship is still grounded. Lucky I"ve got a spare one with a simple engine. The last time it played up it was a simple matter of blowing part of a small fly out of the main carb. jet.

                      • Good advise guys, It would be a shame to pull the engine apart if there is nothing wrong with it :" (I thought you were going for 7 weeks Russ) I was at Huapai for 7 days, spread my mothers ashes ect. wet and cold most days (thats why I migrated)

                        • Hi Max, I have been following the thread, sticky problem you have. Russ makes a good point of getting onto the "flysoob" site, lots of potential info that might provide you with the breakthrough needed.Matt

                              • Max before you expend the $ for a new ECU, can you connect the "A" channel of your CRO to the ECU end and the "B" channel to the "faulty" injector end of the connecting cable please. I would be interested to see those waveforms. I know it will be difficult because the connections are sealed, but it will remove the doubt I have about the wiring harness to that injector. You may need a helping hand to do it.Chooky
