It"s called an "OB2" plug thingo............call rod T.......he was getting one made up for tracking faults etc that get "logged" in your pewtar. But hang on a minute.........you"ve tested all your inputs, you"ve changed pewtars, and still it won"t go. I would still try one by one, exchanging sensors to be absolutely sure one of them is not suss, regardless of what your "readings" were.My "MAF" sensor fault ( contaminated by air filter oil.......by me ) gave exactly the same prob as you are showing. Ran like a chaff cutter.

Now I"ve got a diagnostic plug off a 1996 subaru and a LED check light to wire up to my EJ25 gyro, I took the plug to my nephews place and checked out his $3000 snap-on diagnostic machine and there"s no matching plugs. Plus I can"t find a circuit diagram to wire it in. : Back to the drawing board.

Good to hear you"re having a ball Russ. Was Lucy yarr-Hoowing with you? (Try parking your gyro outside your bedroom window) ;D Russ" old comrade, is it true that your gyro went through three mass air sensors before it ran properly? I"m trying to assess weather they are temperamental components or not as it is the only thing I can"t accurately test.

Should a badly reading airflow meter cause injector number 4 to deliver too much fuel?According to to what I understand, the above is true, this is what happens with the Nissan 3.0 litre /4 cylinder engine before number 4 lets go big time ! Modern engines, particularly those common rail high fuel

Howdy Max. Can I ask a dumb question? Even though your problem sounds like sensors and computers ,how fresh is the fuel you are using? Can you vouch for the supplier of the fuel and its octane rating being what it should be. As a mechanical fitter who has done some stints out in the back country I have been caught out by this and in spite of a life time of mechanical work it was on two occasions the straw that broke the camel"s back when I was miles from anywhere. For the purpose of this forum covering everything and helping you to leave no stone unturned I have decided to ask the dumb question so that it can be totally eliminated or investigated. Beadle Bum.

G" Day RGbee, Some time ago I drained all the premium fuel and filled with new stuff. No improvement. Since burned up all the older fuel in my ea81 trainer and my 98 ford. - No probs. Russ didn"t actually answer my Question: Are you on your third Mass air sensor Russ? I sympathise with you Russ about the live on sailing life. Aviators often become mariners as they slow down. Look at Sir Frances Chichestor for e.g. I"d do it too but we have the same breed of women. (land lubbers) Allways an adventure sailing on big boats, dodging pirates, seeing the world. I"d like to sail around the world with three female crew. One asian, one african, and one European! (Maybe we can leave the old girls at home) ;D
