I knew was smart!Method 1. Make a copy. (Command D)Double click on desktop pic (of ECU or wave form) and it will open in Preview. (Open Inspector and there is a button there to say how big your pic is) Now go to Tools and there is a button Adjust Size. Have a fiddle until you get the size you want. If you do not Save it, it will revert to the original size when you close out.Method 2.Drop the pic on iPhoto. when it is in, you will see at the bottom of the screen "Email" Click that and the pic will open in Mail.(You are asked what size I use the largest). At the bottom of the page you can select small medium or large size again. I find medium works well. When you have the size you want, drag that to the desktop. I shall attach a pic of Russ to see if it worksGraham

Russ,I have a manual for up to 1998 EJ25 fitted vehicles by Haynes. There are no specs included anywhere in that manual that I can find. I also had a workshop manual for the electrical system that I loaned to Bryan. After his demise, it could not be located anywhere. I think that"s where I pulled some limits from, but can"t be sure.Waddles.

This is an ociliscope pattern of a good injector. Now I have to work out how I got it on and try and repeat with the bad pattern.

Thanks Max. well done.Ok If you look at your 2nd posting (imgp0015.jpg) the autoset function of your Oscilloscope has mysteriously also displayed what looks like a correct waveshape as well as the faulty one. I understand why you have used the autoset function however it does limit the information available to me.Analysis - We are working across the trace from left to right. The faulty trace appears to begin 2 volts below the working injector, so already there would appear to be a problem with the electronics supplying the pulse to the injector. After rising to the 35v mark, the injector starts to draw the current and open. Then the trace drops vertically which means that the supply current has ceased (VERY quickly to get a vertical line). If you follow that line to the bottom you can see that it slowly rises again (approximately only 1 volt) which indicates to me that the circuit is still connected to an inductor (the injector coil in this case). The way that the

                    • The two exhausts have black soot coming out indicating rich running however no. 4 may not be producing as much as the other cylinders. I"ll try for another reading. I"m thinking of completely rewiring the engine with no plugs as I used the original engine loom from the ej25 and it has many spare wires and plugs. (Bryne said keep it simple)

                            • I"ve got a clients EJ25 gyro in my yard with a micro tech LT8s ECU system with a little control unit on the dash for inflight adjustments. The system looks very simple and apparently aust. designed. I"ve tried to find out where to purchase a kit but keep getting referred to some dude selling a second hand one on E bay. Does any of you honourable people Know where I can purchase a New kit?
