G" Day RGbee, Some time ago I drained all the premium fuel and filled with new stuff. No improvement. Since burned up all the older fuel in my ea81 trainer and my 98 ford. - No probs. Russ didn"t actually answer my Question: Are you on your third Mass air sensor Russ? I sympathise with you Russ about the live on sailing life. Aviators often become mariners as they slow down. Look at Sir Frances Chichestor for e.g. I"d do it too but we have the same breed of women. (land lubbers) Allways an adventure sailing on big boats, dodging pirates, seeing the world. I"d like to sail around the world with three female crew. One asian, one african, and one European! (Maybe we can leave the old girls at home) ;DOl fella...........replaced me orig MAF with new.........cleaned the orig, refitted it.........went perfect again ( now it"s me spare one )Now this sailing bit................maaate, if some starlet winked at me, i"de run a mile in the opposite direction......trust me. Jeezus, if me missis got a whiff, i"de be sleeping on me stomach for the rest of me life to protect the "jewels" ;D.............trust meYou........should know maaate.......our 2 women would hang em on the wall.........with pride ;D ;D

Thanks Russ for the loan of the MAS, Cam-AS, Crank-AS, fuel reg., igniter, and ECU. They are on the way back to you. The only one I didn"t try was the crank-AS as it"s difficult to fit. I"ve done a third ocilliscope test on the injector signals with the same results. No. 4 cyl. is receiving 32 pulses while the other 3 cylinders are receiving 16 pulses at 2000 rpm aprox. No 4 is also 50 deg. cooler on the exhaust outlet. Obviously getting too much fuel. I really like the ej25 engine. Deadilist and I were training recently in his Green machine ej25 and I was impressed at the climb rate. I remember getting a check flight in Waddles Machine and the climb rate was impressive.

Hi max and crew,Don"t want to hijack your thread but its on a similar vein. I"ve been given a car with a ej22e motor that runs but has a miss. The owner was told its an injector. Has about 250k on it. Is it worth playing with or send it to the wreckers. Ill give it some new plugs tomorrow but I don"t know about the injectors till I get a price and pay the mining tax here. Hay, Russ, I believe you"ll be in NZ soon. Ira and I will be at NW auckland May 21 to 28 visiting my 94 yr. old mother. (Sleeping at my sisters self sufficiency farm at Huapai) close to murrawai beach. Good camp spot for your hire camper. Taking the flying suit as its prob. freezing. My mob. prob. won"t work but sms may? I"ll try and find a gyro naught or two in the area.

You blokes going to NZ buy yourself a 2 degrees SIM card for your phone. $2 and then real cheap phone calls. About 20c a minute with no flag fall. They use Vodaphone network. Their data areas are restricted to big towns. Telecom SIM gives best data speeds and areas, but be prepared to pay for phone use. $30 usually covers me for 3 weeks, including calls to OZ.I suggest buying a cheap phone before you go, and keep your OZ phone for folk who are looking for you, but be aware that you pay to call and receive calls. And turn data roaming off, or you could be in for a big fright.I believe the Wanaka drone has some old warbirds on display.Graham
